Local | By Correspondent December 27, 2021

BOGOTA - Patients from Curaçao, Aruba and Bonaire are still welcome for medical help in Colombia in an emergency, even if they are not vaccinated. This was reported by the Colombian Ministry of Health recenly.

These patients must be transported by air ambulance or medical charter flights, but must carry a medical certificate from their attending physician. For non-emergency cases, the requirement remains that the patient is fully vaccinated.

All patients must meet the conditions established by the Colombian government. The health insurers and hospitals on the islands are aware of these conditions.
