WILLEMSTAD, PORT OF SPAIN - On Monday, February 1, 2021, the Prime Minister of Curaçao, Mr. Rhuggenaath, had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs of Trinidad & Tobago, Dr. Amery Browne.
The discussion was mainly about tackling the Venezuelan migration issue, exchanging "best practices" in this context and how the two countries can work and act together in this area both bilaterally and regionally.
Prime Minister Rhuggenaath and Minister Browne also discussed the COVID-19 situation in both countries and its approach and prospects. The more than hour-long conversation ended with the mutual invitation to visit each other's country as soon as the situation makes it possible again.
