Meteo: sea is calm again

Local | By Correspondent October 21, 2020

WILLEMSTAD - The Curaçao Meteorological Service (Meteo) has canceled the precautionary announcement for rough seas as of midnight. According to the service, observations show that sea conditions are no longer a threat. Earlier, last night, there was a warning for rough seas on the south and west coast of our island. According to the Meteo, small boats should not go out to sea. That has now been withdrawn.

On Tuesday afternoon, Curaçao had to deal with a lot of rain and strong winds, after bad weather was also reported in Aruba. However, the Meteo has not issued any more warnings for the coming days. This should indicate that the weather will be calm in the coming days.
