Local | By Correspondent July 15, 2021

WILLEMSTAD - Government parties MFK and PNP are not in talks with KEM about a possible expansion of the current coalition. According to MFK chairman Sithree van Heydoorn and PNP leader Ruthmilda Larmonie-Cecilia, there is no rapprochement.

According to van Heydoorn, an expansion of the current coalition is not a priority at the moment. PNP leader Larmonie-Cecilia said that she had to check with the MFK whether there were actually talks.

Yesterday, Martines indicated that he was in talks with the coalition parties about a possible extension of the current coalition. Last week he indicated that he was not enthusiastic about participating in this coalition.
