WILLEMSTAD - Inmates must be able to have a meal delivered at least once a week. The MFK faction has submitted a bill for this.
According to the proposers of the bill, the SDKK prison serves 21 chicken dishes per month, fish for four days and another meat dish for just five days. According to the MFK faction, this lack of varied food would lead to aggressive behavior among the detainees and more recidivism.
The new bill should make it possible for prisoners to have a meal delivered at their own expense, as is also possible on Bonaire.
