WILLEMSTAD - Members of Parliament of the opposition party MFK are centrally controlled by the party council. This became clear last week when the five MPs were instructed to send dismiss the Rhuggenaath government with all possible means.
The MFK party together with their parliamentary representatives want a government of national unity to deal with Curaçao’s financial and social crisis. And if that does not work, new elections must come. Today the new Member of Parliament for the PAR had to present his credentials for approval but again, just like last week Thursday and Friday, it was not possible due to a lack of quorum.
As the largest opposition party, says MFK faction and political leader Gilmar "Pik" Pisas they will continue to boycott the meetings.
