WILLEMSTAD - Member of Parliament for the opposition party MFK, Jacinta Constancia calls the sale of the United Telecommunication Service (UTS) to the company Liberty Global a "national disaster".
Member of Parliament for the coalition partner MAN, Eugene Cleopa previously also criticized the services of the internet provider.
Constancia says that the acquisition has still not been paid off, while the company is asking an astronomically high amount for their internet provision, while the service is only deteriorating. Cleopa of the MAN indicated that he wanted to act aggressively against Liberty Global and their monopoly position.
