WILLEMSTAD - Soldiers of the Navy Corps start training today on and around Curaçao beaches. The beach explorations and diving activities are carried out as part of a training course. These training activities will continue until Wednesday 23 June.
The activities are part of their reconnaissance training, which they partly receive on Curaçao. The navy officers are part of the 'Surface Assault and Training Group', a navy unit stationed on Texel in the Netherlands.
