Minister Camelia-Römer: "populist decisions made the hospital expensive"

Local | By Correspondent August 1, 2019

WILLEMSTAD - According to Health Minister Suzanne Camelia-Römer, populist decisions in the past have now resulted in an expensive hospital.

According to the original plans, the hospital should not cost more than 400 million. Then they deviated from those plans, among other things by placing it in Otrobanda instead of the Amstel site.

And now the 600 million guilders has already been overwritten, according to Camelia-Römer during a press conference this week.
