WILLEMSTAD - Minister Charles Cooper of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning (VVRP) issued two building permits on Monday. These are commercial projects that will give a boost to tourism.
The first permit was for the construction of a metal bridge at the Mangrove Beach Resort of Corendon. The bridge will be used for work and construction traffic for the hotel's second phase of construction. After the project has been completed, the transition will be used as a passage for emergency services in the event of calamities. Hotel guests can also use the bridge to cross. It concerns an investment of 2.5 million guilders.
The second permit was issued for an apartment complex in Sint Sebastiaan. The investment of 1.4 million guilders will yield 14 apartments.
