WILLEMSTAD - COVID-19 makes no distinction between people and knocked on the door of PNP leader and minister of Social Development, Labor and Welfare Ruthmilda Larmonie-Cecilia a few days ago.
On October 1, Larmonie-Cecilia received the message that she had tested positive for COVID-19. Larmonie-Cecilia got tested because she started to feel sick after being in contact with someone who also turned out to be positive.
Larmonie-Cecilia is currently in quarantine at home and according to PNP she is doing relatively well, partly due to the fact that she is fully vaccinated.
Until Larmonie-Cecilia has recovered, Minister of Government Service Ornelio Martina will take over her duties.
