WILLEMSTAD - The Minister of Education Marilyn Alcalá-Wallé resigns as a minister. That has just been announced at a press conference at the PAR party office. The announcement was made by the Prime Minister who is also the leader of the ruling party PAR, Eugene Rhuggenaath.
The reason for this is an investigation that the Public Prosecution has initiated into a complaint that has been filed against the minister. It involves a conflict of interest.
