WILLEMSTAD - From his position as Minister of Justice, Gilmar Pisas met with the National Investigation Team (Landsrecherche). This first meeting served as an introduction and at the same time all matters that were 'pending' were discussed.
The Landsrecherche is the national apparatus of criminal investigation on Curacao. They are mainly charged with conducting investigations into criminal offenses committed by persons within government agencies that harm aspects of integrity.
The Minister of Justice normally meets with the Landsrecherche every quarter.
