WILLEMSTAD - Minister of Economic Development, Ruisandro Cijntje, has been abroad since Sunday. The PNP minister attends the Seatrade Cruise Global conference in Miami, Florida. He will return on April 30.
The minister attends the conference at the invitation of port manager Curaçao Port Authority (CPA). Two board members of the government company traveled with the minister. CPA is one of the many stall holders at the important fair. Various shipping companies, port authorities and travel agents will meet at the conference to network. New developments in the cruise sector are also discussed. The theme of the conference is resilience. The speakers will explain how we strive for a safe travel experience for cruise tourists.
