WILLEMSTAD - Minister of Traffic, Transport and Spatial Planning (VVRP) Zita Jesus-Leito is very satisfied that a delegation from TNO visited Curaçao. It is a fact-finding mission, says the minister. The visit of the representatives of Applied Natural Science Research is related to a previously signed Memorandum of Understanding.
According to Jesus-Leito, as far as Curaçao is concerned, the research institute from Delft will focus on issues such as waste water and mobility. Through what is called a Twin Project, a database with data from Curaçao, TNO will soon be able to gather information about, for example, air quality, but also about the effects on the traffic flow if situations are changed.
