WILLEMSTAD - The Ministry of Public Health, Environment, and Nature is introducing the so-called e-nose. This device can be installed at any desired location to monitor odor nuisances.
In Curaçao, there are various locations where residents constantly experience unpleasant odors. This problem is often difficult to prove because the odor sometimes only manifests at specific times.
The e-nose has the ability to detect any odor, analyze its components, and determine the time of manifestation. This way, evidence of the nuisance can be collected, allowing the process of addressing the source to continue.
