WILLEMSTAD - The Ministry of Social Development, Labor and Welfare cannot be reached in the WTC today and tomorrow. The offices are closed for a thorough cleaning.
This is necessary because mold has been found in the offices of the ministry. A small group of civil servants refuse to work in the building any longer if the problem is not addressed.
According to them, the temperature in the building is too hot one day, and too cold the next. Research by the ARBO service shows that the temperature control in the building has a problem.
The mold in the building is partly caused by leakage, as a result of which rainwater seeps along the walls and the ceilings. The ministry's services in community centers will continue today and tomorrow.
