WILLEMSTAD - Regional diplomas are more recognized in the future. That is at the idea behind a treaty signed by the Ministry of Education.
21 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean signed this treaty and Curaçao has now also joined.
In Curaçao, many diplomas and titles from High Schools and Universities in the region were not recognized, which meant that extra exams had to be taken before these successful students could work in Curaçao. This should motivate studying in the region.
