Local | By Correspondent March 18, 2021

WILLEMSTAD - A total of more than 800 people on Curaçao voted in the parliamentary elections in the Netherlands.

This is evident from the provisional result of the vote count. That happened last night at the Representation of the Netherlands in Curaçao.

As in the Netherlands, the count showed that VVD will be the largest party and D66 the second. The CDA, the party of Undersecretary Raymond Knops (Kingdom Relations) only received 59 votes.

Anyone in Curaçao with a Dutch passport who has voted in the Netherlands for at least 10 consecutive years is allowed to vote in the Dutch elections.
