WILLEMSTAD - More than 200,000 guilders was collected at an auction of the Public Prosecution Service (OM) of seized vessels. “There was a lot of interest in the vessels, more than 300 people were present,” said the Public Prosecution Service.
On Thursday, the Public Prosecution Service organized the public sale of various boats together with the Integral Packing Team Curaçao. The vessels that were sold had previously been seized by a debt collector.
The various boats (including sailing yachts and sports boats) were sold to the highest bidder. The proceeds of the auction will go to the government of Curaçao.
