WILLEMSTAD - The Central Bank must become more transparent. This is apparent from a survey that the Central Bank itself commissioned among those involved in the financial sector and beyond, the so-called stakeholders.
The Banko Sentral should act more as a partner rather than just a supervisor. Community confidence in the bank's integrity also needs to be improved, many respondents say.
The survey was conducted online in November and December 2020 by sending questionnaires to 500 participants. There were 243 responses.
