WILLEMSTAD - The majority of COVID patients in the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) still appear to be unvaccinated people. This is evident from the weekly occupancy overview of the CMC. Of the 208 patients admitted since July 22, when the Delta variant was discovered on the island, 191 had not been vaccinated.
Five patients had only one shot. One person became ill within two weeks of the second shot. Four patients were fully vaccinated but had immune diseases.
Only five patients were fully vaccinated. The vaccination status of two patients is still unknown.
