WILLEMSTAD - Antilleans who live in the Netherlands want to get rid of Black Pete (Zwarte Piet). At least between 58 percent of them think the new style of just chimney soot is a good solution. This was investigated by the TV program Een Vandaag.
Four in ten respondents think that Piet can remain black. 77 percent of Antillean Dutch people want to keep the Sinterklaas party.
Preferably with adjustments to the Zwarte Piet, so that it again becomes "a party of all Dutch people".
