WILLEMSTAD – Motorists on Curaçao have been able to purchase their license plate number for the year 2026 since Monday, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Finance of Curaçao.
The ministry reports that payment for the license plate number can be made either for a six-month period or for the full year. Motorists who choose the half-year option will receive only a tax card. Those who pay for the entire year will receive both a tax card and a sticker.
The purchase and payment of the 2026 license plate number can be completed at the Tax Office in Emmastad, as well as at several locations of Cpost and ACU.
The Ministry of Finance encourages motorists to complete the process in a timely manner to ensure compliance with vehicle tax regulations for the coming year.
