WILLEMSTAD - It is the umpteenth time that the press as well as individuals on social media provide incorrect information about both the position of the Ministerial Director and Supervisor (MRT) and what he supposedly earns as a salary, which is inconsistent with reality.
Although this has been explained at different times and with different media, the incorrect information continues to lead its own life. The MRT has repeatedly explained through press releases and presentations how the entire HNO (new hospital) project works and that this includes information about the salary of the MRT.
Earlier this week another article appeared in the Vigilante newspaper that is inconsistent with the truth. Moreover, this morning newspaper published this without verifying nor did the Vigilante apply the basic principle of journalism of "Hoor en Wederhoor" (right to be heard).
Since this information is incorrect, the Vigilante will in no way be able to prove that what it has published is correct.
