Multiple Arrests After Firearms Seized During Police Raids in Normandie and Saonaweg

WILLEMSTAD — Police arrested several suspects and seized multiple firearms during a series of judicial searches carried out on Monday, December 29, 2025, in the neighborhoods of Normandie and Saonaweg.

At approximately 4:25 p.m., officers from the Arrest Team, working jointly with the Robbery Unit, executed a court-authorized search at a residence in Normandie as part of an ongoing investigation. During the search, police discovered and confiscated two firearms.

In connection with the weapons seizure, four individuals were arrested on suspicion of violating Curaçao’s firearms legislation. The suspects are a 19-year-old man identified as B.S.C.B., two 20-year-old men identified as N.C.C. and J.J.G.E., and a 25-year-old woman identified as J.C.A.N.M. All four were born in Curaçao.

At the same address, police also arrested a 25-year-old man identified as B.S.C.B., born in Curaçao, in connection with several burglary cases.

Following the operation in Normandie, police conducted a second judicial search at a residence on Saonaweg. During that search, officers seized an additional firearm. A 42-year-old man identified as L.A.C., also born in Curaçao, was arrested on suspicion of violating the firearms law.

All suspects were presented before an assistant public prosecutor, who ordered their detention pending further investigation. Authorities say the investigation remains ongoing.
