WILLEMSTAD - According to reliable sources, Muryad de Bruin will be the new boss at the Curacao Tourist Board (CTB). He will succeed Jamaican Paul Pennicook, whose contract expires after three years and will not renewed.
De Bruin is now CTB’s regional manager for the Netherlands and Europe. He is in his thirties and has been working for the CTB for about five years now. Sources say that critics mention De Bruin's lack of network and experience. The director of the CTB is appointed by the Minister of Economic Development, in this case Interim Minister Larmonie-Cecilia.
