WILLEMSTAD - The nature on all six islands of the kingdom is in a bad state. That is what the Dutch Caribbean Nature Alliance DCNA says.
Action needs to be taken quickly, because with unchanged policy the loss of biodiversity will continue at an accelerated pace. The nature organization says that attention should not only be given to the BES islands, but to all former Antillean islands.
Yesterday, the Dutch Minister of Nature, Carola Schouten, opened the new DCNA office in Bonaire.
