WILLEMSTAD - The naval ship the Zeeland intercepted a sailing ship with 500 kg of cocaine in the Caribbean Sea on Thursday.
When boarding the sailing ship, the American coast guard team that was on board the Zeeland almost immediately found the bales of cocaine.
In January the Zeeland already did a record catch of 2000 kg hard drugs, which were smuggled aboard a speed boat. Thursday's drugs and those on board have been handed over to the US Coast Guard.
