WILLEMSTAD - The communication team of the Public Prosecution Service Curaçao has been strengthened with a new employee. Since October 1, 2019, Ms. Shurminia Martina - Rafael works as a Communications and Information Officer at the Prosecutor's Office for Curaçao, for Sint Maarten and for Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba (BES). The Public Prosecution Service now has a communications officer on every island.
Mrs. Martina - Rafael will take care of the external and internal communication for the Public Prosecution Service Curaçao. She will also be the spokesperson. Mr. Roderick Gouverneur is responsible for the communication activities and the spokesperson for the BES islands. Finally, in Sint Maarten, Mrs Hazel Durand is responsible for communication work.
With the new composition of the communication team, the OM strives to raise the general level of information to the various communities regarding the work of the OM and to further build on the professionalization of the organization.
