WILLEMSTAD - The Fundashon Desaroyo Deportivo Korsou (the Curaçao Sports Development Foundation) must become less dependent on subsidies from the government and must tap other sources. This is according to the new director of the FDDK Vergilly Winklaar.
Winklaar was recently appointed to this position.
Winklaar does not yet say exactly where the sports organization will get funds and if there are any plans already.
He believes that the foundation should start setting up new services and products. This will make the organization attractive for sponsors.
