WILLEMSTAD - This month Sea Turtle Conservation Curaçao (STCC) welcomed Michael Posch as its new director. Posch is an environmentalist and conservationist who has volunteered in different organizations around the globe. The last two years he spend in the Azores, researching and working to protect Cory‘s Shearwaters. Posch will now use his ample experience and great international network to lead STCC, a voluntary organization that aims to protect sea turtles and habitats through conservation, awareness, and research.
While the organization’s regular activities, like nest monitoring, beach clean-ups, turtle rescues, and educational programs are going ahead, the coming months will be spent rearranging the organizational structure.
