WILLEMSTAD - All vehicles in Curaçao will receive new license plates next year. Minister of Finance Javier Silvania confirms this to the media.
Cars, trucks and buses as well as motorcycles and scooters will receive a new license plate in 2023. Until a few years ago, vehicles were given a new number plate in Curaçao every year to check the payment of tax. Due to environmental aspects, this was replaced by the sticker.
The project is still awaiting approval, but Silvania says the license plate replacement is already certain.
