WILLEMSTAD - Justice has set up a new multidisciplinary team to control the borders at Hato airport and at the port. That was agreed at the Judicial Four Countries Consultation.
The team consists of police, military police, customs, and security guards at the airport. They specialize in the area around the airport. Yesterday the team acted with a check on passengers, employees and visitors at the airport.
54 cars and 64 people were checked for violations of the Traffic Act, Opium Act, possession of weapons and residence status. Four fines were issued.
