WILLEMSTAD - Mr. Mauritsz J. de Kort becomes president of the Joint Court of Justice.
The Kingdom Council of Ministers in The Hague has approved the nomination for appointment on the proposal of The Dutch Minister of Legal Protection Sander Dekker, also on behalf of his colleagues from Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten.
Mr. De Kort will succeed Ms. E.A. Saleh as of 1 January 2022.
He has been a judge at the Court since 2011, where he has been Vice President since 2017.
