Patients should report to the polyclinic at the registration desk before their appointment
WILLEMSTAD - From July 13, a new central registration process applies for appointments at the Outpatient Clinic. This means that Policlinic patients must first register at the registration desk (floor 0) for registration and document check, before going to the outpatient clinic for their appointment with the relevant specialist. Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) recommends that patients arrive at least 30 minutes before their appointment to draw a number. Patients who come to the CMC for the first time should bring the following documents: (1) Digital card or hospital card (2) Two referral letters: Diagnosis letter and Social Insurance Bank (SVB) Care Portal (3) ID (4) Insurance certificate (5) Guarantee letter.
Patients who already have a digital card need only bring that card, a guarantee letter and, if this is the case, their new insurance documents. Patients who need emergency care are registered in the Emergency Department.
To guarantee the safety of our patients and our employees, your cooperation is appreciated when it comes to compliance with social distancing and hand hygiene measures. If you suffer from coughing, you must use a face mask in the hospital. If you show COVID-19 symptoms, you are urged not to come to the hospital. Instead, call your doctor first.
