WILLEMSTAD - The next edition of Ride for the Roses Curaçao (RFTR) is set for January 26, 2025, bringing with it a few notable changes, according to the RFTR spokesperson.

During a recent press conference, the updated program was unveiled. Activities will include the Walk, an 8 km route starting at Brionplein and crossing the Juliana Bridge, as well as a 5 km option over the Emma Bridge. The Ride, a cycling event featuring three categories, will begin and end at Mambo Boulevard, while the Swim will be an open-water route from Jan Thiel to Seaquarium Beach.

A new addition this year is the "Run," which will take place before the Walk. Another change is the Walk route itself, which will now pass through Scharloo, showcasing significant landmarks like the Prinses Wilhelmina Fund.

The event, according to organizers, aims to promote sport, solidarity, and support for the fight against cancer while raising funds for the Prinses Wilhelmina Fund.

Participants can register online through the official Ride for the Roses website.
