WILLEMSTAD - Today there is a pro forma hearing against 20-year-old Nicole Lake.
She has been accused of kidnapping, robbery, assault, and threats. For example, she kidnapped a victim who was forced to withdraw from an ATM machine. Lake was once convicted of an armed robbery at a young age. She became known because she managed to escape from youth institutions several times.
Due to the corona crisis, there is currently no handling of her case, but a pre-trial hearing is needed because otherwise, she would be detained for too long without a trial.
