No 204 million liquidity support from the Netherlands yet

THE HAGUE, WILLEMSTAD - The 204 million liquidity support will not come for the time being. The plenipotentiary ministers of Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten have asked for more time before the Kingdom Council of Ministers can decide.

The councilors met this morning to discuss the aid package to the Caribbean islands in the fight against the corona crisis which has basically ruined the economy of the Dutch Caribbean islands.

The Kingdom Council of Ministers is formed by the Dutch ministers and the plenipotentiary ministers of Aruba, Curaçao and Sint Maarten.
