No change in travel restrictions

Local | By Correspondent August 17, 2020

WILLEMSTAD - Despite the reports that circulated last weekend, the restrictions for incoming travelers are still unchanged for the time being.

This is evident from the latest information from the government. The airport is closed to several countries, but there are exceptions for travelers from low and medium risk countries.

For example, on the last country list of 6 August, the Netherlands was classified as a medium-risk country: travelers do not have to go into quarantine from the Netherlands, but they do have to do a PCR test before traveling. Aruba and Sint Maarten are not on that list, so travelers from these countries must request permission to enter Curaçao and be quarantined for 14 days.
