WILLEMSTAD - General Practitioners have decided to handle their walk-in consultation hours by telephone. The aim is to prevent the waiting room from becoming a hearth of contamination.
Any prescriptions are sent to the pharmacies, where someone other than the patient can collect the medicines. According to the general practitioners' association, there is still no question of a crisis in Curaçao, but all hands must be on deck to prevent that.
