WILLEMSTAD - The corona figures on Curaçao are doing well. There was no new infection in the past two days. Currently there are 113 active cases on the island.
699 tests were taken yesterday and none of the results turned out to be positive. The day before, zero positive cases were registered from 605 tests.
The number of corona patients in the Curaçao Medical Center is also still declining. Yesterday two more people were able to leave the Curaçao Medical Center (CMC). There are now 27 patients in the hospital, 19 of whom need intensive care.
No one has died from the effects of the virus in the past 24 hours. One patient died in hospital the day before. The total number of corona deaths now stands at 117.
