WILLEMSTAD - The police cannot hand out fines if the road markings are poorly visible or missing. That is the scope of the traffic court judgment.
A man passed another car on a road with a solid marking between Zegu and Grote Berg. The continuous marking there is largely missing.
According to the court, the government must put new markings if it wants the police to take enforcement action.
