WILLEMSTAD - The application for the NOW financial assistance for the month of June can only be made once Curaçao has received liquidity support from the Netherlands. The portal for applications will only be opened when the funds have been transferred.
At the moment, the government is still negotiating with the Netherlands regarding the sixth tranche of liquidity support. The cabinet has previously announced that it has kindly but urgently requested parliament to agree to the agreements made with the Netherlands earlier, this must be done by tomorrow at the latest.
