WILLEMSTAD - 76 new positive corona tests have been registered yesterday. 3 people were declared virus free. Curaçao now has a total of 405 active infections.
The 76 new infections are the result of 1,742 tests taken, which gives a test ratio of 4.4 percent. It is the sixth day in a row that the number of new cases has gone into double digits. Yesterday, 94 infections were also added (test ratio of 5.7 percent). The number of cases continues to increase at a rapid pace.
The government epidemiological team reports that the two large clusters found earlier are responsible for 52 and 60 cases respectively.
Two patients are in the Curaçao Medical Center; none of them are in intensive care.
