WILLEMSTAD - Last week a corona patient died from the effects of the virus. The number of covid-19 deaths is therefore 283. This is reported by the Ministry of Health. Nine people have been hospitalized with corona.
Last week, 82 people tested positive for the virus. That equates to an average of 12 new cases per day. There are currently 116 people infected with the virus. Since June 1, the testing policy has changed. It is no longer mandatory to be tested in case of symptoms. Despite this, these figures are representative of the covid situation on the island.
