WILLEMSTAD - The management of Refineria di Korsou (RdK) is taking over the former Shell management house on the refinery site as an office. The 1930s building had been vacant for a few years.

According to Jessica Russel, Asset Management Organization (AMO) manager at RdK, it is a good choice to use the building as an office. “We are now right next to a future operator of the refinery. That is good for building the relationship, but also for control," Russel said.
The executive house is the only one left of the first so-called Shell village on Curaçao. The property has been recently renovated in the original architectural style.
