WILLEMSTAD - The Public Prosecution Service (OM) needs more time to investigate the case of Umpi Welvaart.
The appeal against the photographer would start on Thursday October 15, but the OM has asked for a postponement. Umpi is suspected of involvement in drug and gold smuggling with his boat "El Capo" in August last year.
The OM demanded four and a half years in prison. In December, Umpi was acquitted after 14 weeks in custody.
