WILLEMSTAD - The National Ombudsman in the Netherlands is going to investigate the problems that Caribbean students encounter with the Education Executive Agency, DUO.
The research must lead to recommendations to improve the preparation, stay and aftercare of the students. During this investigation, the ombudsman will work closely with the ombudsmen from Curaçao and Sint Maarten. The results must be known by the beginning of December 2020.
The aim of the investigation is to help students repay their debts after they are doing with their education.
