WILLEMSTAD - The current trend of the low number of corona cases is continuing. The Epidemiology Department reports one new case yesterday. No new infections were added in the past week.
The number of active cases dropped to 29 in a week. Last Monday, Curaçao still had 58 active infections. The Curaçao Medical Center has 18 Covid-19 patients, half of whom are in intensive care.
The number of vaccinated people continues to increase. In the past week, 1,813 people have been vaccinated. Last Monday, the number of people who had one injection stood at 82,499. On Sunday, the epidemiology department reports that a total of 84,312 have been vaccinated. 67,320 people have now had two injections.
